Meet Michaela Sanchez, Esq., an experienced Insurance Attorney based in Miami, FL, with a passion for representing homeowners in property damage lawsuits against insurance companies. Michaela brings to the team her skills and experience in civil litigation, particularly in working with public adjusters and mitigation companies in assignment of benefits cases.
Prior to joining the firm, Michaela was a Law Clerk at Silverberg | Brito, P.L.L.C., where they honed their legal research and writing skills by researching evidence issues and writing memoranda on motions for interpreting real property insurance contracts. Michaela also served as a Judicial Intern for Hon. Laurel Isicoff at the U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Miami, where they researched substantive and procedural issues and drafted orders to show cause and orders to dismiss.
Before embarking on their legal career, Michaela worked in the entertainment industry in various marketing and promotions roles. As a Promotions and Publicity Account Coordinator at Allied Integrated Marketing, she created digital marketing campaigns on behalf of major studios and managed marketing events, including red carpets, talent appearances, and press tours. Michaela also worked as a Promotions and Publicity Intern, where they coordinated grassroots events, screenings, and target marketing for major studios and secured promotional partners and word-of-mouth groups. She further honed their event planning and project management skills as an Executive Assistant at Legacy Entertainment, where they supported corporate event planning, promotions, and special projects with celebrities and businesses.
Michaela received their Juris Doctor from Florida International University College of Law in May 2021, where they were on the Dean’s List for multiple semesters and a Full Dean’s Scholar. They also hold a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, magna cum laude, from Florida International University. Michaela was admitted to the Bar in the State of Florida in 2021 and is excited to continue serving clients as an Insurance Attorney in Miami.
